Michelle Connolly

Michelle Connolly

Michelle has a background in ecology and experience crafting and communicating conservation policy. She is  the director of Conservation North.

Mackenzie Tsugathuja

Mackenzie Tsugathuja

Mackenzie supports Conservation North’s field program. They are an unapologetic biophile who spends much of their free time in the bush, exploring the remaining intact forests of Conservation North’s area of focus – the northern wetbelt. 

Kate Logan

Kate Logan

Kate has a background in toxicology, studying everything from pesticides to oil spills. She has worked in the public and private sectors, as well as with non-governmental organizations. Kate provides science support to Conservation North.

Hayley McMillan

Hayley McMillan

Hayley McMillan is fourth-year student at UNBC pursuing her BSc. in Wildland Conservation with a minor in Biology. Hayley is an avid outdoor recreationist in her free time and chose to pursue a degree in conservation because she has a deep passion for the nature and a desire to preserve and protect it for generations to come.

Asta Glembotzki

Asta Glembotzki

Asta has a medical background and is part of a herbalist program. Since her childhood she has had a deep passion for forests and nature in general. With her camera she captures the beauty of forests, the small things on the forest floor, and wildlife . Asta is Conservation North’s photography manager and responsible for fundraising activities.
