About Us

Conservation North is a 100% volunteer-run collective based in Lheidli T’enneh territory (Prince George, BC). We support and advocate for the protection of wild plants, animals and their habitats in northern BC.

Among us are academics, resource professionals, Indigenous Peoples, forest industry workers, artists, and public concerned with wildlife and biodiversity loss in northern British Columbia.

We recognise that communities of native species and their habitats have a right to coexist with humans, so we promote habitat protection, employing both science and advocacy to change government policies on land management.
